I don’t know about y’all, but I like to dream. It’s fun to sit back and imagine all that we can do with this one life we have. I always tend to write dreams in my prayer journal because I believe it’s important to share dreams with the One who gave us imagination in the first place. They don’t always play out like I imagine, but God’s plans with my dreams have always been more grand and extraordinary than I could’ve ever imagined. God took my dreams and said “I can do better”. Never be afraid to dream and to hand those dreams over to God. He’s listening, and He wants to hear our desires.

“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! ” Ephesians 3:20, The Message

august-september

It’s already September! I don’t know about you but that means FALL for me! I’m ready for PSL’s and Football! We almost completed everything off of our August Bucket List. The only thing I have left to do is schedule a Fall photo session. I find it funny that I’m slacking on this considering I’m a photographer, ha! September might be more laid back for several reasons so our bucket list will be the same:

  1. Intentional prayer. I was really good about prayer journaling before China and I’ve completely slacked on this now that we’re home. I want to get back in the swing of things and start praying more for friends and family. I was able to write 2 pages worth this morning, yay! If you have any prayer requests you want to share, please comment and I will add them in!
  2. Start learning ABC’s – does anyone have ideas for this? She can count from 1-10, should she learn more numbers before the alphabet? Any advice on this would be great! We’ve tried flash cards and it didn’t go very well.
  3. Face time with Aunt April as much as possible (she just moved to Japan and we miss her!)
  4. Get our fall and football decorations out (YES!!!!)
  5. Spend more time outdoors. Plan a picnic, hike, or bike ride… are corn mazes open yet?
  6. Practice “mom going to work” and get Sweet P familiar with me leaving

How cute is our little cheerleader?! We’re ready for football season!
Happy September everyone!

We are so thankful to everyone that supported our adoption yard sale! We raised $1,675.25!!!

Whether you donated your time, your items, or if you just said a prayer for us and spread the word to friends, we THANK YOU! Your love and support means so much to us.
Thank you Casey, Aaron, and Scott for getting up early and getting everything set up…

Special thanks to our little helpers Emma & Micah who stayed with us all day and donated some of their toys!
Thankful for my Aunt Karen & Uncle Donnie who are always there for us!
 Taking pictures of each other…
My mom, mamaw, and Scott helped so much the week and day of, we are very thankful for them!
If you are considering a yard sale fundraiser for your adoption then we highly recommend it! Be sure to put an ad in the paper and have noticeable signs on streets. We could only do ours for one day, so if you could do two days over a weekend then even better! Thanks again to all of our family friends, we are getting so much closer!!!

FRIENDS!!! We can’t believe how close we are to completing The Puzzle Fundraiser! We have sold 308 pieces so far equaling $6,160! We’re so close to completing this fundraiser so we can move on to the next one.

Through this journey we have seen God work in some pretty crazy ways. There is one story that makes me (Kristin) cry every time I tell it. I wish I had the space to type it all out, but next time you see me please ask because I would love to tell you all about it! I just pray that we can we bless people as much as we have been blessed!

We only have 192 pieces left! Please help us get the word out! If you want to donate, (it’s $20 per piece) click over to the left of the blog on the Paypal link.

We THANK YOU from the bottom of our heart!
